With age comes the technical difficulty of maintaining an old custom CMS and with being one of most visited sites in Croatia comes a problem of serving millions of pageviews reliably.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">WordPress VIP hosting platform met our requirements because it already reliably serves billions of pages each month and they do it by using a secure publisher-centric open source platform. All the code that runs on their servers is reviewed for efficiency and security, what ensures quick loading times and reliability.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">In this talk we will talk about our experience with creating a new theme for <a href=\"http:\/\/net.hr\/\"><span class=\"s1\">Net.hr<\/span><\/a> and moving to WordPress VIP hosting. From initial contact to developing a theme, code review and finally the launch. The process has been a learning experience and we grew as developers.
