We have finished selecting the speakers for the first WordCamp Croatia that will be held in the beautiful city of Rijeka, right on the Adriatic coast. Our two last speakers are Petya Raykovska (Senior Project Manager at Human Made and an active member of the WordPress community) and Lisa LaMagna (founder of LaMagna + Associates, a communications agency from San Francisco). Welcome girls :).

Lisa LaMagna – Content Development for Your Company or Your Clients

Lisa LaMagna is founder and principal of LaMagna + Associates, a communication agency in San Francisco, California. In her talk she will talk on how to add a new dimension to the services you provide by creating content that lives up to the quality of your design. Lisa will share:

  • How the website project can (finally) catalyze a clear marketing plan
  • Processes & tools for creating and organizing content — what works now
  • How to price content creation services.

With years of expertise in content strategy, business development, marketing and public relations and clients like EMI Music, Ernst & Young, Microsoft or Viacom, her talk is something not to be missed.

Petya Raykovska – On Making WordPress

Petya Raykovska is today a well–known name in european WordPress community since Petya was one of the organizers of two of the last WordCamps Europe. She works as a Senior Project Manager for Human Made and is a huge WordPress enthusiast.

Petya will talk about “On Making WordPress”, a talk about how she started contributing back to WordPress and how can you contribute as well.

This is a talk about contributing to WordPress for the right reasons and making the most of your contribution time. It covers the most common reasons people have started to contribute and kept contributing and gives a brief overview at all the different contributor teams on the project.

Petya will also be a part of our Panel on “Working With WordPress”.
